The first 3 notes (the “pickup”) are played only the first time. Then the two full bars between the repeat signs are repeated.
Pay close attention to the picking direction! The horseshoe shaped symbol is a downstroke, and the v symbol is an upstroke.
I used a chorus effect to record this on the guitar. I think this riff was originally played on the bass. Anyone know if that’s correct?
